Every Bondi fishing magnet wears the same signature golden cover, and this collection brings the full gold range together in one place, from the smallest beginner magnet to the strongest one we build.

The range, by pull force

• The Nugget, 760 kg / 1680 lbs: our most compact magnet at 1 kg and 57 x 47 mm. Slim enough to work deep into mud, cheap enough to be a first magnet.
• The Jackpot, 1080 kg / 2380 lbs: the step up from the Nugget. Bikes, money boxes, small safes.
• The Bondi Gold, 1460 kg / 3220 lbs: our best all-rounder, the magnet the brand is named after, and the one Leigh fishes with himself.
• The Holy Moly, 1800 kg / 3970 lbs: the strongest we make, for experienced magnet fishers only.

Each magnet is also available as a complete kit with a heavy duty rope, grappling hook, XL bucket, waterproof gloves and cover included.

Why the gold cover exists

It is not decoration. The cover is machined to 1 mm, thin enough that the magnetic pull force is not measurably affected, thick enough that the corners of the magnet survive being thrown off bridges onto concrete and dragged across rocks. Broken corners are the most common way a fishing magnet dies, and the cover is what stops it.

Every magnet in this collection ships with its cover included free. Replacements are sold separately when yours has earned enough scars.

All 360 degree

Every magnet here is magnetic across its entire body rather than on one face. Dragged along the bottom, it grabs metal from any angle, which means fewer wasted throws and more finds per session. It is the design Bondi settled on after testing everything else that was available, and it is why these look different from the single-sided magnets sold everywhere else.
