Which beginner fishing magnet should you choose?

The Nugget (760 kg / 1680 lbs) is our most compact magnet and the one most people start with. It weighs 1 kg and measures 57 x 47 mm, so it slips deep into mud and silt where heavier magnets simply sit on top. It has pulled up piggy banks, skateboards and children's bicycles.

The Jackpot (1080 kg / 2380 lbs) is the step up. It has enough power for bikes, money boxes and small safes while still being controllable enough that you are not constantly stuck on the bottom.

Why 360 degree matters more when you are learning

Most entry-level magnets sold online are magnetic on one face only. Miss the angle and you come up with nothing.
