What is the best place to go magnet fishing?

Of course, this is the key question that every magnet fisherman wants answered. Unfortunately, it is hard to say, because you never know what is on the bottom and whether another magnet fisherman has been there recently. In general, we can categorize three types of spots.

1. Places where people have a lot of interaction with the water. Think of bridges, locks, marinas and beaches. Here you often find personal items that people may have lost.
2. Secluded wharves. If criminals dispose of a safe, it won't be in plain view bananas. Where is it? That will always be a mystery.
3. Historic sites. Looking for medieval swords or Roman coins? Then choose a historical place where people lived in the distant past. Ask permission before throwing your magnet into the moat of a castle, however!
